If you choose the Meeting Room product, you can rent the room for up to two consecutive days. If you are already a member of our spaces and need the meeting room for longer than 2 hours, please send a message to our community on Slack kindly asking if no one will need it.
You can always make calls at your desk as long as noise levels are kept acceptable for everyone in the coworking space, but if you need a more private space, we have other solutions. All our spaces have a meeting room. If you are a full-time or part-time member, you have access to our platform and can book it there. If you have a casual pass, you can use this room for up to one hour daily. To book it, you just need to ask the Community Manager or make your request via email to cowork@porto.io. Besides the meeting room, Downtown and Seaside also have a soundproof call booth. This booth works on a first-come, first-served basis for shorter calls.
It is the fiscal registration of your company’s address in our space. In Portugal, you need an address to register your company.

The 24/7 advantage is available to full-time members. This perk is also available with the 5-Day Pass and the 10-Day Pass at a cost of €25 + VAT if you book consecutive days.
You must give a minimum of 15 days notice to leave the space if you have a full-time or a part-time membership and two months’ notice if you have a private office membership.

Yes. The only address available for Virtual Office plans is Rua de Cândido dos Reis 81, Porto.
You must subscribe to our Virtual Office plan. You must choose between payment methods 1 or 2 (we will send this information by email). After that, we will send you the payment link for the subscription; once activated, you can register your company at our address (which we will send by email as well). Once you do so, we will ask you for the company registration certificate, which we need as per ASAE Regulation No. 656/2022. After the certificate is sent to us, we will officially start your Virtual Office plan. This should be a quick process. If you don’t send us the certificate within five working days after the start of your subscription on our platform, we will cancel your subscription.

Yes. You have access to the reservation system through our platform. All our spaces have a Meeting Room. Access is unlimited but subject to reservation. We practice a policy of balanced and fair use for all. For example: using the meeting room for one or two full days exceeds the acceptable and fair usage policy. However, if it’s a one-off case and you give prior notice to the community, there shouldn’t be a problem. The meeting room cannot be used as a private office.
Our social responsibility plans are aimed at NGOs, companies or freelancers
working on projects related to sustainability, at companies and freelancers in their first year of registered activity in Portugal, and at residents in Portugal. We offer a 10% discount on the monthly full-time and the part-time plans. These discounts are not available for other plans. You can see all the

How to get to Porto i/o Riverside
By Metro: Yellow Line, get off at S. Bento station and walk along Rua Mouzinho da Silveira towards the Ribeira area (5 minutes) until you see a pink building (house number 73). We’re on the 4th floor.
By car: Park at the SABA Ribeira or Alfândega car parks.
If you arrive by bike, you cannot leave your bike inside the building or at the entrance. This is expressly forbidden.
By foot: If you live downtown, you can walk there. It’s a great sightseeing opportunity in this wonderful city.
How to get to Porto i/o Downtown
By Metro: Yellow Line, get off at Aliados station. It’s about a 4-minute walk from the Metro station to the coworking space. We are at the blue door, house number 81 on Rua de Cândido dos Reis. The doorbell is on the wall on the left-hand side of the door.
By car: Park at the SABA Praça de Lisboa car park. We’re one minute away.
If you arrive by bike, you can leave it in the entrance hall of the coworking space, but please let us know in advance by email so we don’t have a large number of bikes blocking the way.

By Metro: Blue Line, get off at Matosinhos Sul station. It’s about a 3-minute walk from the Metro station to the coworking space. We are at Rua Brito Capelo 1127, 4450-070 Matosinhos.
By car: Park in the parking lot on the Matosinhos waterfront. It’s about a 3-minute walk from the parking lot to the coworking space. All parking lots east of Rua Brito Capelo are free of charge, so if you’re patient, you will find a spot. There are paid parking spots on our street.
If you arrive by bike, you can leave it in the chill-out area of the coworking space, but please let us know in advance by email so we don’t have a large number of bikes blocking the way.

We have lockers at Downtown and Seaside. You can only use the lockers if you have an active membership with us. At Riverside, we don’t have lockers. Talk with the team to know more about the conditions for the lockers.
The Porto i/o team will create your individual access to the space, which can be made by means of a code to tap on the number pad on the door and a web app hyperlink.
If you have 24/7 access, you can go in and out of the coworking space whenever you need to, weekends included. If you’re using the space with any other plan, you can go in and out of the coworking space as often as you need, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

You insert the details before you add your credit card information for payment. Only you are responsible for this. Porto i/o and the team cannot make any changes after issuing the invoice.
All payments are made by credit card via Stripe. For one-off payments, a unique link will be sent to you. A subscription is created for you in our system for regular monthly payments. When you want to terminate your membership with us, you must notify the team with 15 days’ notice by emailing cowork@porto.io
After the invoice is issued, the Porto i/o team cannot make any changes to it.
No. Our business falls under the same Portuguese law as real estate (like hotels), and our activities are not entitled to Value Added Tax (VAT) refunds. This means we must always charge VAT. The VAT tax in Portugal is 23%.
